How to Build A Webiste that Has Ever Growing Traffic?
I started building my vitamin site from 2005, the website traffic has been growing month after month and year after year. See the traffic statistics summary below.
In December 2005: Notice when the site is new, the page views, visitors per month was about 100. See graphic below. It is the proof how to build a website that the search engines send you endless traffic.
(note: the main source of my traffic is from search engine)
One year later, in Dec 2006, the the page views has increase from 126 to 5000, that is 40x increased! Visitors per month has reached above 1000, an increase of 15x. See graphic below.
In November 2009, the total page views is 18,000. Traffic from search engines is ever increasing. This is the result of using SBI! to build a website.

As at the point of writing (Dec 2009), I have a vitamin supplements website visited by 10 of thousands of visitors each month. I did not spend a single cent directly to advertise or do any thing to bring visitors from anywhere. All my site visitors are sent by search engines. I still remember that I bought an ebook for US$97 and failed after a year. I paid for people to tell me what worked but they did not tell me how!
In the gist, Ken outlines in great details step by step from how research a profitable website keyword to how to get search engine to send you traffic and monetize from the traffic. Today, I am speaking from a successful home Internet business owner's experience. Steps How to Build A Website
Below are a short write-up on how to build a website using the CTPM approach I mentioned above.

1. Choose a theme
A site topic or a niche that you are comfortable of writing
it. Of course it must be a profitable website too. It start with find the
keyword. A keyword is the search term that people are search using search
engines. A profitable keyword is the one that has high demand and low
competition. Learn how to build a profitable niche concept by starting out
with a
keyword list.
2. Research for the highly profitable niche
One keyword is not enough to build a success content rich
website. So you must plan and research before you start to build a home
based business web site. I call this stage the brain storming stage.
Basically you brainstorm for many other related keywords for your website.

You will discover is systematic approach, guiding you how to research for a
highly profitable niche, which include choosing keywords and expanding them
to build a theme.
I use Site Build It!

3. Find make money online avenues
You may use your home business website to promote and
draw more customer to your conventional business or service that you are
running, or to your merchant portal, which is already running. You may not
have anything to sell. Fred not, affiliate marketing is a good start to run
a online business.
In affiliate marketing, you recommend and promote, meaning PREsell, not sell
other people's product or services. You have zero overhead over the good and
services to worry about.
As an affiliate, you can promote e-goods, hard-goods, services or even earn
finder's fee by providing local business with interested web visitors.
Every body knows something. You can simply be an infopreneur.
4. Register your domain name and hosting.
Before you register your domain name, make sure that you
have done the first two steps above thoroughly. Many beginners learning how
to build a website made a mistake here. They went ahead
to register a domain name, either paid or free, before completing the first
2 steps.
Own your domain
Building your online business website with free hosting is just like
building a beautiful house on other people's land. You must make sure that
you own the very domain and it is registered in your name. Remember a house
that built on other people's land does not belong to you!
So, do not build your business on free domain or hosting.

5. Choose your website Look and Feel design.

This is important as your visitors must feel very comfortable and want to
stay longer. It means he/she will discover what you have in stall for
him/her. Thus surprise him/her by OVERdeliver what he/she expect.

6. Learn how to build a website blueprint.
Plan your site in a pyramid structure.
Start your homepage with a main theme (Tier-1)
Branch out to sub-themes: 5 - 7 (Tier-2)
Build 5-10 pages for each Tier-sub themes.
Your Internet business website will have a bout 50-70 pages if you plan
in this way.
7. Build your web pages
How to build a website that the search engines like?
Content.
Your home based business website must provide quality
content which is relevant and OVER Deliver what your visitors are looking
for.
You give what people want. And OVER delivers it. They are turned on and open
to buy when you recommend your services or products.
I recommend that you read Dr Ken Evoy's
Make Your Site Sell ebook. A must for every online marketer or
anyone want to learn how to build a website. Grab it. It is FREE now (was
sold at USD9.90).
Trust me, he spent his valuable time for more than 3 month writting about
his experience in building successful web pages that turn the visitor to a
warm and open-to-buy customer. He summarise it in a word called PREselling.
Optimise your page for major search engine for each of your keyword.
Tips on how to build more web pages:

You can write the web pages yourself. For beginners, I encourage you to write your own pages. The web pages is about your first hand experience. Consider this as a practical tutorial for yourself while learning how to build a website.
You can find and search the web for ideas and inspiration. Do further research and blend in your experience, write unique pages for your visitors.

You can pay and get others to write for you. Especially for certain topics which you may find it challenging to write it yourself.

Buy Private Label article and rewrite them yourself. I suggest this to only more season website owners.
8. Submit your web pages to search engine.
Each time you build a new page, submit it to search engines.
Consider the three main Search Engines.

Google
-
Yahoo
-
Bing
This is a tedious job. Consider that every page you build must be submitted to the major search engines? Again, Site Build It! automatically submit all pages to the major SE.
9. Submit your site to major directories and niche directory.
After you have build about 20-25 pages, submit your home
based business web site to second tier directories and some niche and hub
directory.
Why I omit the major directories at this point of time? The major
directories are too 'crowded'. You may have to wait very long to get listed
there. Instead of wasting effort there, put your effort to get your website
listed in second tier directories. Your site will get listed faster. That's
it.
10. Build links to your web pages.
The more web sites link to your site, your site will appear
more important to search engines (for example: Google term this as Page Rank
or PR in short). When everything else is equal, a site with a higher page
rank will be appear first in the search engine.
11. Create more Keyword Focused web pages.
From your brain storming, you get a bunch of keywords that
is suitable for your website theme, now is time to create a web page for
each of these keywords. When you have built these keyword focused pages, you
inter-link them for your web visitors to browse your site at ease. This will
create a very professional web site. The search engine also see it as inter
related pages.
12. Build affiliate links.
How to build a website with money making idea? One of the easiest way to rake in income for your home based
business is to promote other people's product and earn commissions from
them. This will make a quick start for your Internet business.
When you are more establish, you can consider creating your own products
(e.g. digital products) and market them on your home business website.
Building affiliate links means you recommend other merchants
products. You create a link and send your visitor to your merchant site.
Your web page does the pre-sell. When customers click on your affiliate
link, they are more likely to be eager-to-buy customers. By the time he/she
reaches the merchant website, your merchant will do the selling. As an
affiliate your just sit back and wait for affiliate commission. By the way,

13. Monetize from adsense
You can create Adsense ads into your page. Adsense is Google's advertisement channel that automatically display the ads on your web page. When your web visitor click on the link, "kchang" you get paid. This is another way you can increase your website revenue.
