Make Money at Home

Is make money at home your dream job? Yes to some.  I started having this dream of running an Internet home business in 2005. Years later, I have got some results. Though the money from the Internet can't retire me from my day job now (2010), I am working towards it.

Be realistic!

I have read many reports and seen many program that promised making 10's of thousands of dollars overnight in the Internet.

There are real stories that people make real money at home from the Internet, they all built their business step-by-step.

In some occations, I heard people reported so and so generate $10,726.97 in just 24 hours! Have read this type of story before?

If that really happened, it is not an overnight effort. The Internet marketer have over time building up their client list or traffic to their website. Usually the big money is make overnight as an "event". This event did no happen every day.

Very much that the story was told as if that single event happened every day.

There is hope!

Following my example, I did not make big sum of money over night. However, I build my Internet business slowly day after day, after my day job. As at now (Dec 2010), I have am average of USD500 per month of income from the commissions in my affiliate marketing effort.

The source of my website traffic is from search engine alone. I did not spend a single cent in any advertisement to get website traffic.

How I do it?

1. I did my research and decided on the niche (market) that I wanted to focus on.

2. I built a website and populate my website with relevent information for free.

3. I continue to build web pages on topics that people looking for information in the net through keyword research.

4. I put up links to related products and get credits when products are purchased through my links. This is call affiliate marketing.

5. I gave away free downloads and newsletter to earn people's trust to give me their emails so that can update them on the topics that they interested in.

That's it.

From step 1 to 4, I did it using SBI to ensure that I did them all correctly so that search engines send me free traffic to my website.

For Step number 5, I learn this strategy from Jimmy D. Brown. He taught me to maximise the traffic sent to my website. Through this strategy I get people on my list to purchase products that they are interested through follow up emails.
