Search engine traffic: It is the website traffic search engines send to your website. You might have heard many people talk about search engine optimization. Free traffic from search engine is not about search engine optimization alone.

To get free traffic from search engines, you must have content. Many pages of content.

Each of the page that you build must be optimized for search engine. There are a few basic things that you must do. These are not difficult but need your effort.

1. Page URL must have your keyword.2. Page Title must contain your keyword.3. Page description must have your keyword.4. Header text must contain your keyword. 5. Page text must have some keyword distribution BUT not over stuffed with keywords.6. One text-link must use your keyword.7. Submit your page to search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASK.7. Continue to add more web pages.8 Repeat the above.

Here is my own experience.

I build my vitamin supplements site using the above guidelines. The website traffic builds up slowly month after month since 2005.

Every website start the same way. There is no overnight free traffic, especially from search engine.
